We are so happy to kick off our 2013 events with Cindy McKenzie, Senior Vice President, Fox Entertainment Group. You do not want to miss the event.

What does life look like from the CIO’s perspective? How can you help your CIO achieve success and be noticed for it? Cindy McKenzie will discuss what issues are on the CIO’s desk and how her team can help her or hinder her on the road to achieving IT success and excellence. Along the way, Cindy will share some tips on how to advance or derail your career from the CIO’s perspective.

Speaker’s Bio:
Cindy McKenzie is responsible for developing and delivering shared application services to over 10,000 employees at more than 9 Fox and News Corporation companies around the world. Areas supported include Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Legal, Corporate Security, Content Security, Corporate Intranet, Tax, Treasury, Audit, Risk, and Royalties. Cindy joined Fox in 2001 as VP of Enterprise Technical Systems for Fox Filmed Entertainment. In 2006, her organization was migrated into the broader Fox Group where Cindy led the implementation of a shared services organization and corresponding governance model supporting all Fox companies. Since the group’s inception the number of services and companies supported has grown by over 50%. Cindy has led numerous strategic and change initiatives during her tenure at Fox and has helped improve the effectiveness and efficiency with which application services are delivered to Fox’s businesses.
Prior to joining Fox, Cindy was Vice President of Information Systems at Sony Pictures Entertainment where she provided IT services to the global Motion Picture and TV Production, Studio Operations and Digital Studio divisions.

Cindy has over 20 years experience in Information Technology in the financial and entertainment industries. Cindy is on the board of the UCLA Anderson IS Associates and Southern California Chapter of SIM. She has been honored in 2012 as one of Computerworld’s Premier 100 IT Leaders.
