Over the past year, responsive design has become quite the hot topic in the web design community. So, what is responsive design exactly? Well, the Internet browsing power is not exclusive to desktops computers or cellphones anymore. Nowadays a variety of devices such as tablets, TV, watches etc. etc. can browse the internet as well. Responsive web design (RWD) was the answer to multitude of devices in the market. Using fluid grid-systems, flexible assets and the amazing power of media queries, RWD became a methodology of choice for developing the modern website.
In this presentation I will show you how responsive design tackles the issue of displaying website throughout different screen sizes and web browsers. I also compare it with mobile apps and mobile web apps and whether it matches your model or not and what kind of tools and skills you need to utilize for responsive design.
